“HOT IS COOL: A CULTURAL DIALOGUE BETWEEN FINLAND AND HONG KONG”

ulture for Tomorrow (CFT), a non-profit organisation founded by cultural entrepreneur Adrian Cheng in 2017 to actualise design and architectural innovation, will inaugurate with the cross-cultural event “Hot is Cool: A Cultural Dialogue between Finland and Hong Kong” from 9 – 13 December at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza. With the theme of Finnish Sauna x Hong Kong Pavilion which playfully takes on temperature and two culturally symbolic architecture, young award-winning architects from Finland and Hong Kong will re-imagine and actualise innovative designs of these two long-standing social spaces, setting the perfect platform for interesting and inspiring programmes, such as sauna experience, design exhibition, cultural salons, creative workshops, reading and music performances, for participants to interact and savour the seamless connection among design, architecture, lifestyle and culture.
