Object
Definition
The Objects of CFT as referred to in CFT’s Personal Information Collection Statement include:
- for the advancement of education, to promote, advance and develop art, culture, architecture and related subjects, and the corresponding public and professional education and innovation in Hong Kong;
- for the advance of education, to promote and nurture the study and general knowledge of and the appreciation in art, culture, architecture and related subjects for the betterment of the Hong Kong community;
- to hold, sponsor and organize different kinds of events including, but not limited to, seminars, conferences, meetings, conventions, exhibitions, courses, programmes, trainings or workshops in art, culture, architecture and related subjects for the attainment of all or any of the Objects and to establish, conduct, operate and maintain non-profit making institutions and organizations;
- in furtherance of the Objects of CFT but not otherwise, to inspire and encourage public participation in art, culture, architecture and related subjects in order to establish and enrich the core values of the Hong Kong community;
- in furtherance of the Objects of CFT but not otherwise, to create a new interface with the Hong Kong community in the exploration of all facets of art, culture, architecture and related subjects, and to promote multi-collaboration with practitioners, professionals and public;
- in furtherance of the Objects of CFT but not otherwise, to enhance the interflow of young generation in particular to the establishment of a deeper connection with the People’s Republic of China through art, culture, architecture and related subjects;
- in furtherance of the Objects of CFT but not otherwise, to establish a strong linkage on art, culture, architecture and related subjects related to the history, heritage, sustainability and future evolution of Hong Kong;
- to promote, advance and strengthen the education, development and all other aspects in relation to and for the furtherance of the Objects; and
- in furtherance of the Objects of CFT but not otherwise, to co-operate and/or enter into arrangements with local and overseas charities, non-profit making organizations, community centers, corporations, societies, associations, organization, institutes, universities, quasi-government or government bodies to develop, promote and dance the awareness of art, culture, architecture and related subjects excellence, and to foster public education programme and professional research in art, culture, architecture and related subjects, the disseminate the results of any research for the benefit of the Hong Kong community.
